Málaga, 17 July 2025 – FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) has signed a collaboration agreement with Smart City Cluster that will allow them to join forces to boost the smart cities ecosystem and maximise the impact of the professional forums organised by the Malaga venue. The agreement establishes a cooperation framework focused on generating synergies between key players in innovation, sustainable urban development and digitalisation.

The document includes a series of strategic actions. FYCMA will provide Smart City Cluster and its members with preferential access to international professional events, as well as spaces for networking and participation in specialised contents. For its part, the Cluster will contribute to strengthening FYCMA’s visibility, actively disseminate its initiatives among its network of associates and collaborate in identifying opportunities for joint innovation in key areas for sustainable urban development.

The collaboration will be visible at the next edition of Greencities, Urban Intelligence & Smart Mobility, which will take place on 1 and 2 October. It should be noted that the Palacio has established itself as one of the most active trade fair organisers in southern Europe, specialising in the conceptualisation and development of professional events linked to the field of innovation, digital transformation and the generation of knowledge. Other examples are Simed, Salón Inmobiliario del Mediterráneo -13, 14 and 15 November-, which deals with innovation and sustainability in the real estate sector; H&T, Salón de Innovación en Hostelería -2, 3 and 4 February 2026-; Transfiere, European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation -24, 25 and 26 February 2026-, or CM Málaga, Culture & Museums International Tech Forum -22 and 23 June 2026-. In this way, FYCMA will offer the companies and entities that Smart City Cluster brings together a meeting place where they can accelerate projects that promote sustainable urban development.
