The developed system, capable of operating autonomously even at night, employs robots equipped with intelligent sensors that allow them to be deployed in factories, warehouses and commercial environments. These technologies are designed to be easily integrated into existing production lines, optimising real-time quality control and facilitating predictive maintenance.
The project has been promoted by OnTech Innovation, Intelligent Behavior Robots, MS2S Innovation, Plain Concepts and Smart City Cluster, and is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism in the framework of the Innovative Business Groups (AEI). In this third phase, with a total budget of 372,745 euros (of which 263,955 euros have been subsidised), the real application of emerging technologies in production environments has been validated.
During the closing webinar of the AEI 2024 projects, the advances achieved were presented, including new algorithms for texture analysis and surface recognition, as well as the incorporation of AI in control systems to detect defects in real time and issue automatic alerts.
A replicable and scalable model
Auto Digital Twins 3 is an example of effective collaboration between startups, technology SMEs and knowledge centres, integrating IoT platforms, predictive models and user experience. Its modular and scalable approach allows it to be adapted to other sectors beyond the automotive sector.
Towards a smart industry
The next steps include the extension of these solutions to new industrial environments, the standardisation of technical protocols and the open dissemination of learning to contribute to the digital transformation of the national productive fabric.
With this closure, Auto Digital Twins 3 reaffirms the potential of digital twins to drive a safer, more efficient and sustainable industry.
