The LIFE+WineGRover project is presented during the Smart City Expo World Congress 2022.

The Smart City Expo World Congress 2022, held in Barcelona from 15 to 17 November, provided an opportunity to raise awareness of the LIFE WineGRover project at international level.

18 November 2022

This event brings together the leaders of the most innovative companies, governments and
organisations working to make cities smarter and more sustainable environments. Smart City
Cluster could not miss this event and, once again, has been present at the event with a stand
representing the Smart City industry in Spain.

As part of this participation, the Smart City Cluster team had the opportunity to present the
LIFE+ WineGRover project, of which it is a partner, to different international delegations present at the fair, interested in the field of precision agriculture.

The LIFE+ WineGRover project is a project involving 6 partners from 3 member countries (Spain, Italy and Portugal), which aims to reduce the environmental impact related to grape production through the introduction of innovative technologies for precision agriculture and their
validation in two vineyards located, respectively, in Italy (Cottarella Family) and Spain (Bodega
Conrad).

During the event, the latest advances of the project were presented to different entities interested in this field, including the testing of a Rover designed by the Italian company Setel at Bodegas Conrad (Ronda, Spain) and the integration of the corresponding data in an IoT platform.
