Cluster talent showcase and urban innovation solutions at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025

Eleven partners will showcase their solutions at the ICEX Spanish Pavilion, where Smart City Cluster will participate with presentations, panels and activities focused on urban innovation.

Malaga, 30th October 2025.-Smart City Cluster is participating in the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the leading international event on urban innovation and sustainability, which is being held in Barcelona from 4 to 6 November.

The Smart City Cluster stand, located in zone D100 of the Spanish Pavilion, will be a meeting point for companies, institutions and knowledge entities interested in the development of sustainable urban solutions.

From this space, Smart City Cluster will offer information about its ongoing projects and the collaboration opportunities promoted by its business ecosystem.

With their participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025, Smart City Cluster and its member companies are strengthening the international profile of the Spanish smart city industry and its commitment to innovation applied to citizen well-being.

Alongside the cluster, eleven member companies will have their own stands at the venue, consolidating the presence of Spanish industry at the world’s largest showcase for urban innovation: Argos, BABLE, Bosch Video Systems, Cibernos, Elliot Cloud, ESRI, Kunak, Libelium, MB3-Gestión, Sílice, Urbiotica and WDNA.

Several of them will also participate in the Spanish Pavilion Showcase, presenting solutions in areas such as sustainable mobility, air quality, the digitisation of urban services and efficient resource management.

Smart City Cluster activities in the Spanish Pavilion

Over the course of three days, Smart City Cluster will hold its own programme of presentations and meetings, focusing on public-private cooperation and the dissemination of inspiring projects from its ecosystem.

Tuesday, 4 November – 12:50 p.m.
Presentation of the ‘Guide to Improving Air Quality’ by Antonio Segura (SUEZ). The document, prepared by the cluster’s working group on air quality, offers strategies and success stories for advancing environmental management in cities. The guide is available for download on the Smart City Cluster website.

Wednesday, 5 November – 4:00 p.m.
‘Family coffee’, a networking event for member companies, institutional representatives and invited municipalities. This space promotes the creation of synergies and the exchange of experiences within the cluster ecosystem.

Thursday, 6 November – 9:30 a.m.
Presentation: ‘Linares: sustainable reinvention’, with the participation of the Mayor of Linares, Auxi del Olmo, and the CEO of Santana Motor. The session will share the conclusions of the II City Intelligence Forum, held in October, which focused on the sustainable reindustrialisation of medium-sized cities. This will be followed at 10:30 a.m. by a networking coffee break open to companies and institutions.

‘European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) for Local Digital Twins towards the Citiverse,’ where Libelium and Nunsys, together with the cities of Barcelona and Valencia, will present an exportable success story in urban digitisation and inter-municipal collaboration based on data and solution sharing.
