Majadahonda

Currently 5 systems collect the waste of 68% of the population of the city of Majadahonda (Opportunity, Center, Arcipreste, Monte del Pilar and Negrillos) and another system that is under development, Roza Martín-Satélites, is expected to come into operation at the end of the year 2019.

Since the first pneumatic collection system in Majadahonda was launched in 1997, its elements have been updated, as advances in this technology have been produced.

In 2018, the mailbox doors were changed to those of the “Panera” model. That same year, its 960 valves collected 7,635 tons of rest and 705 tons of containers.
