In its almost twenty years of life, Geolit has had as a factor its reason for being the initial olive sector. In its spaces is the CITOLIVA technology centre; the Plant Production and Health Laboratory; the Olivar Foundation and the Terra Oleum Museum; with the provincial headquarters of Caja Rural and the study center of its OLIVARUM foundation; the Institute of Agrarian and Fisheries Training (IFAPA) of the Ministry of Agriculture; the Food Information and Quality Agency (AICA) of the Ministry of Agriculture; the Center for Advanced Studies in Olivar of the University of Jaén; or companies in the sector such as Pieralisi or Interóleo.

However, in its diversification there has been the implementation of companies in the energy and renewable sector, in the social and health sector, in the services sector and with more recent strength in the ICT, telecommunications and information technology sector.

In the park there are three buildings dedicated to the location of companies, as well as research centres and it is expected to incorporate experiences of acceleration of companies (all in the Technological Centres of Advanced Services CTSA1 and 2 and the Eureka building).
