The 3DC14EM-ULP series is the smallest 3DCoil in height (less than 50% of the market pieces). The vast majority have a height of 3.2mm. The lowest height before the ULP was from the Premo 3DC06 part, with 2.5mm. The objective of a height of 1.65mm has been the biggest challenge during the last 2 years, in which it has been achieved thanks to the development ecosystem created between Bq, UC3M and Premo. The entire Spanish research project has been carried out under the support of the CDTI with the name ASUMP (Access Security Using Mobile Phone).

This piece is capable of being integrated into devices such as mobile phones (to be used as a digital key with the same experience as current passive input keys), smartcards, standard vehicle control, and other devices where the electromagnetic positioning system can be use with 6 degrees of freedom: real position accuracy systems with no limitation in line of sight, very low latency, low power consumption, etc.
