The 6th RECI Smart City Congress will bring together representatives from public administrations, experts, and national and international organizations in Málaga to analyze the main challenges of urban innovation and share strategies for building smarter, more sustainable, and more resilient cities. The event will be held concurrently with Greencities, Urban Intelligence & Smart Mobility, strengthening opportunities for collaboration between the two forums.
The congress will bring together more than 170 cities and provincial councils and nearly 700 professionals from the smart cities ecosystem, including public officials, international organizations, technology companies, and research centers. The event will feature representatives from the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI), the United Nations, Red.es, and leading municipalities in digital transformation and urban management.
The program will address issues such as the digitization of public services, artificial intelligence applied to municipal management, data governance, cybersecurity, smart mobility, and technologies for the city of the future. Furthermore, the joint event with Greencities will foster the exchange of experiences, networking, and the creation of new partnerships between government agencies and companies.
