A meeting aimed at public administrations and institutions focused on the use of data and technology to drive innovation in urban management. The conference will address the role of open platforms and experimentation models as tools for developing urban projects based on information, interoperability and collaboration.
The event will bring together public officials, technical staff from administrations, technology companies and professionals involved in the digital transformation of the public sector, with the aim of sharing knowledge and exploring new opportunities for collaboration around urban innovation.
The programme includes an introduction to FIWARE, presented by Miguel Angel Martin Rodriguez from the company Innovasur, along with sessions on the functioning of urban sandboxes as environments for experimenting with innovative solutions in real conditions. Use cases, analysis of public investment returns and a networking space for public sector professionals will also be presented.
The conference is part of the activities of the EDINT project – “Data that transforms cities”, aimed at promoting digital transformation, data reuse and sustainable urban development. The event can be followed in person and online.
