Smart City Cluster finalizes an air quality guide with more than 60 solutions for the municipalities

The document, with more than 150 pages, has been elaborated during the last year thanks to the contributions of 14 companies of the sector and 7 Spanish universities

Smart City Cluster is finalizing the preparation of an air quality guide with the aim of contributing to the sustainable development of the territories and oriented to all Spanish Public Administrations.

A committee of experts made up of 14 companies and 7 universities are finishing this September the more than 150 pages of the guide, which has been worked on over the last year. It contains, among other contents, the existing regulations, the steps to carry out a reliable diagnosis of the state of air quality in a territory, the monitoring of data, the different solutions for each of the scenarios that occur in different localities or the implementation of plans to implement.

The keys to how this work is going have been highlighted in a webinar in which Antonio Segura (SUEZ), Fernando Moreno (Bosch), Rubén Márquez (3CS) and Pedro Gea (Setesur), together with the project manager and the head of Territorial Innovation of Smart City Cluster, Clara Plata and Miguel Ángel Martín, respectively, have participated.

In addition to these companies, the air quality guide for smart cities industry has counted with the work of Batch Arquitectura, Conantec, Discomon, Elliot Cloud, Grupo AL, Iotsens, Kunak, Libelium, Metalesa Seguridad Vial, MSI Digital Builders, SILO, Universidad de Granada, Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Universidad de Zaragoza, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Universidad de León, Universidad de Castilla La Mancha and Universidad de Córdoba.
