Mayor Juan Díaz welcomed the attendees, showcasing El Viso’s notable tourist spots such as La Colada beach, Civil War shelters, the museum of artist Aurelio Teno, the local crafts center, and the Museum of the Auto Sacramental de los Reyes Magos, among others.

The session featured representatives from collectives and companies advancing smart cities, including 3Dalia, Amuraone, Goli Neuromarketing, Innovasur, IUrban, Novality, Novelingo, Smart City Cluster, Sepalo Software, and Torsa.

Beatriz Mora, business development director at Goli Neuromarketing, delivered a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence at the Service of People.” She discussed the potential of AI to measure various aspects in urban settings, such as movement counts, visitors’ age, gender, nationality, travel companions, points of interest (via gaze tracking), movement flows, and emotions through non-verbal language, using cameras that collect data without capturing images.

Furthermore, a new brand image for El Viso and its strategy as a tourist destination were unveiled. Sara Fernández, director of marketing and communication at 3DALIA, presented this initiative alongside the town’s mayor.

The event, part of the Acelera Pyme initiative by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, also featured presentations on potential proposals to launch the El Viso lab as a tourist innovation destination.

In conclusion, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to explore the tourist sites highlighted by Díaz and enjoy a networking lunch in the municipality.
