Dos Hermanas hosts a day to discuss the urban challenges of Smart City

On February 18, the city of knowledge will bring together experts from institutions and companies to analyze the future of cities

The Delegation of Economic Promotion and Innovation within the framework of the DHInnova Program, organized on February 18, in collaboration with Smart City Cluster and the Dehesa de Valme R & D Park, the conference under the motto “Smart City: The solution to urban challenges? ”

This meeting will feature the participation of the key actors in the development of the smart city, both of the public administration itself and of private companies and experts of change in the cities, who will put on the table their vision and their experience in three panels of debate.

Specifically, we will talk about the importance of a global strategy, the company’s space, the role of technology or citizen participation, to end in a participatory workshop that will draw the challenges that Dos Hermanas has to address in its development strategy as smart city.

The term Smart City no longer sounds only in large cities worldwide and is, increasingly, urban centers of any size that are working on their way to become an intelligent space, which allows to improve the quality of life of their inhabitants, being more efficient and comfortable.

However, in each city, the way of understanding and developing the idea of ​​Smart City, the programs that are carried out, the relationship with citizens, technology or the environment itself are different. On this day, we will try to address questions such as: what are the Smart Cities?, where are they going? , etc., with the objective of contributing knowledge and experience in the debate about the future of cities.

This event is included in the calendar of activities programs for 2020 in the framework of the Innovation Forum in Dos Hermanas DHInnova and is part of the strategy of the city in its development as Smart City.
