TORSA is a company based in the Technological Park of Andalusia (Málaga) formed by professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the technological sector. Its two main activities are: first, the design and manufacture of equipment and technological systems, both own products and products on demand in collaboration with its customers, focusing in this case on the world’s great mining and pharmaceutical logistics and distribution and Secondly, the development and promotion of large-scale renewable energy facilities, with interests in the Spanish national market and in the Chilean market.

Mining Engineering

Total Detector
It is a system of alerts of abuses and collisions that informs the operator of machinery of the type, position and distance of the different vehicles, machines or people around him. It guarantees a complete detection of the risk area around the machinery (eliminating dead spots), helping drivers avoid possible human errors and reinforcing the safety of operations (driving and manoeuvrability) and increasing productivity in the operation.

Vibration Monitor
System of measurement and evaluation of the vibrations to which the operator of the vehicles and machinery is exposed. It is a tool that helps the prevention of occupational hazards, allowing monitoring and alerting of possible deviations in vibrations suffered by the worker, thus reducing the number of injuries and casualties of personnel for this type of damage.

Pharmaceutical logistics

Neptune system
It is an assurance system in the quality of the shipment by capturing images and videos whose mission is to guarantee the necessary records to guarantee traceability in the supply chain. Currently they have more than 90 equipment installed throughout Spain, and with clients such as Bidafarma, Fedefarma and Alliance Healthcare.

Renewable energy

TORSA is specialized in the promotion, design, installation and management of renewable energy facilities. They have developed more than 300 MW of wind and solar energy in Andalusia, and in 2012 they decided to export their experience and knowledge to Chile, where they are currently developing more than 100 MWs.

Innovation Department

In addition to its product design work, the R&D department provides the necessary support, that is, the planning, development and monitoring of projects carried out. Thus, these are developed following the UNE 166001 standards, giving internal support and participating in external activities linked to the entire innovation ecosystem.
